The communication with Springfield Country Club was prompt and clear throughout the entire wedding planning process! The space was timeless and classy, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. Milton was ready with blankets for the golf cart and always checking in with us in case we needed anything, and Nancy was always delightful and on top of everything that needed to be done. Our best man wasn’t able to attend due to deployment and the co-best man coordinated a video to play during the speech, the process day of was seamless and we are thankful he was able to say some words on our wedding day! We had such a great time working with Nancy and the entire Springfield Country Club team - the entire wedding was perfect!

Their buffet and dessert bar options were delicious and plentiful.They took good care of our guests who needed vegan, gluten-free options or a kid's meal.One of the highlights of our celebration was a "make your own bouquet" bar for guests. It was an option that Drexelbrook suggested, based on our shower theme. They worked with us to ensure that we could decorate and arrange the space to meet the needs of our event. There is plenty of free parking on site.

Getting married at the Christiana Hilton was a great decision. We loved the smaller ballroom so we could have an intimate wedding. The ceremony space, ballroom and hotel in general was beautiful. The food was delicious and we keep getting compliments from our guests. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well and that food was awesome as well. It was so convenient to arrive Friday afternoon and not have to leave until Sunday. And Katie made it so much easier than I expected. I did not want a venue where I had to do all the work and Katie made it so I did the bare minimum a bride can do and still got a beautiful and personalized wedding. It was a perfect day and weekend!

It’s a beautiful place to have a wedding. Our 100 guests fit perfectly in this space and had plenty of room to move around. The staff was beyond helpful and everything went smoothly. I really enjoyed working with her as she wears many hats. She is a great listener, personable, creative, and very resourceful/well-connected -- which helps to secure special pricing and privileges. We have had the privilege of working at the Farmhouse at People's Light on multiple ocassions and couldn't recommend it more highly. The Farmhouse is such a unique space, with creative locally made art on display and integrated throughout the property, both indoors and out! Some of our favorite features include the cozy bridal suite with a working fireplace and how the event space perfectly flows from indoors to outdoors. Richard & Dawn are two of the kindest and best people to work with in the wedding world, with an ability to help organize a perfect event and keep you smiling through everything. A review wouldn't be complete without also saying that the Farmhouse has some of the BEST food! We are never disappointed in the delicious options.

The Merion Tribute House was such a wonderful venue for our wedding reception. From when we scheduled our initial viewing to our final drop off for last minute decor, the staff at Merion Tribute House communicated well and were a joy to work with. It was an amazing backdrop for our bridal party photos and the dining room was the perfect size for our 100 person reception. The dance floor was the perfect size and we made great use of it. The meaning behind the Tribute House is very close to our hearts and it is a beautiful venue! We highly recommend the Merion Tribute House!

We cannot thank Jamie and Kathy enough for making our vow renewal so special. The whole day felt like it was straight out of a movie. From the very beginning of planning, they were clear, organized, and thoughtful. Every detail was seamless, from being transparent about pricing from the start to the end of brunch when one of our friends arrived late and their team made him a breakfast sandwich so he would still have something to eat. That kind of care did not go unnoticed. From the moment we walked into the hotel and the front desk greeted us with such warmth, I felt so welcomed I actually cried. The little touches like apples and water for guests, the amazing bartenders on our first night at the cafe bar and at our event in the Montrose Mansion, the care their team took with the gift bags, and making sure everyone fit comfortably into the venue all meant so much. And the food… it was impeccable. Both dinner and brunch were better than anything we could have dreamed up. It is a huge testament to their organization and communication skills that we were able to plan the entire event from California without worry. There are no words to describe how thankful we are. We held our wedding at The Franklin, with photos on the steps and around the museum, a rooftop service followed by cocktails in the life sciences and energy galleries, and dinner and dancing in the Rotunda with the Ben Franklin National Memorial. Start to finish the days was seamless, organized and amazing. The combination of the quality of the organization (we did not need a wedding planner, the staff at the Franklin did 90% of the work), the food and catering, lighting and small touches all made the day the best of our lives. On top where else can you drink a Martini in the Giant Heart and dance under the stars in a National Memorial. Can not recommend them enough !!!
