“When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding, we determined early on that we wanted someone who was professional, down-to-earth, easy to work with, and great at what they do. We also specifically wanted timeless, effortless, and natural photos. After speaking to about 5 photographers and not feeling like we found our match, we came across Rich’s work. We immediately fell in love with his photojournalistic approach, his timeless work, and the way in which he captured the raw, authentic, and genuine parts of a wedding day. After our first conversation with Rich, it was clear that we found the photographer we were hoping to find! Rich is not only incredible at what he does behind the camera, but he is also a wonderful person to the core. It was clear that Rich genuinely cares about his couples and wants to do everything he can to make them feel beautiful, comfortable, and happy. Communicating with Rich was easy and stress free. He responded to each email with enthusiasm and professionalism. He never made me feel like I was a bother or that I was asking too many questions, which meant so much to me as a bride. He helped us plan everything from our wedding day to our engagement shoot, offered his opinions on locations, and followed up with us the week leading up to our engagement shoot it as the weather was not looking great! They captured all of the moments we wanted, but never made us feel like we were following a script or “plan”. My husband and I could not believe how beautifully they captured our wedding day! “My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. “Megan captured our wedding day this past May, and the year prior - also did our engagement shoot. I had high hopes for beautiful sunset photos for our engagement shoot, but of course it ended up being a cloudy day. I didn’t want to reschedule, but no biggie for Megan. She worked her magic and created a mock sunset shoot for us with her lightening. Fast forward to our wedding day. She dealt with our goofy groomsmen, the chaos of having my dogs, a surprise appearance that pushed cocktail hour a half an hour later than expected, day-of changes in shoot locations due to a rainy morning. But through it all, she maintained a go with the flow attitude that kept me level headed all day. Never once did I worry if she capturing what I wanted, or if my photos would turn out okay. “Obviously the best part of our wedding was marrying my wife (!!) but a close runner up was getting to know and work with Amanda! In addition to being an excellent photographer, she is just a charming, lovely, and warm person who is a genuine pleasure to be around. Having Amanda as our photographer felt like we had an extra friend at the wedding! She went above and beyond her professional obligations to make a comfortable atmosphere for all our guests and made a specific effort ahead of the wedding to get to know us and our preferences. During the wedding planning stages she even helped us out by giving advice on her knowledge of venues as we were looking for one and helped us figure out timings and order of events for the day of the wedding! During the cocktail hour my bustling for my dress accidentally ripped out and Amanda and her wife took it upon themselves to help me fix it alongside my wedding party members, which was so kind of them and a perfect example of the kind of person Amanda is. My wife is not terribly comfortable in front of cameras but Amanda did an excellent job of making them feel relaxed and natural as the subject of photography rather than the one behind the camera. Our wedding party members, friends, and family had nothing but positive things to say about her to us after the wedding, and we were especially impressed with her quick turnaround time on sending us previews of the wedding photos. Amanda’s assistant Rylan took the photos for our sangeet the night before our wedding and did an admirable job of adapting to the chaos of a mostly-unstructured event. He graciously accommodated unscheduled requests for family group photos even though we had initially asked him to come to capture mostly candids. When a double rainbow appeared during sunset he made sure to capture photos of us with it!”

“This review is a tad long so bear with me. I worked with La Mila Catering for my sister’s wedding which was held on 27 July 2024. While planning my wedding a few years ago I knew what to expect and what questions to ask. What I didn’t expect was working with such a lovely and genuine team. I worked with Sandy specifically for catering services only. She’s spunky, lively, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Working with her has been a pleasure and I felt as if I were talking to one of my best friends. Sandy is a great salesperson. She not only explains what La Mila offers but she does it in a way that is transparent and has no unexpected costs and “fine print”. She communicates well and is direct, which I appreciate. She’s a talker and I don’t mean that negatively. She makes you feel like family most sincerely. In terms of planning and coordination, Sandy was excellent and they’re lucky to have her. Menu: When creating the menu my sister wanted Mediterranean food. Now, I believe that their specialty is Mediterranean cuisine, but they do not shy away from other cuisines. Their menu is extensive and will cater to anyone’s taste. Skies the limit! We had quite a bit of offerings for Cocktail hour, Dinner, and Dessert. We were able to have a tasting which helped us narrow down if what was selected previously was what they wanted for the day of the wedding. There we met Elie (E-Lee NOT El-lee) and Heidi, the owners, and Sandy in person. Elie is the head chef and knows what he’s doing in the kitchen. Everything was cooked to perfection; delicious tasting and the portions were filling. Aside from the food it was obvious that Elie and Heidi work hard for their business and are truly dedicated. Day of the wedding: Elie, Heidi and their team worked based on the wedding timeline that I created. They were on time to serve all their food. I can’t tell you how many times I saw Elie walking back and forth to check on food and to bring food. That guy was moving! Heidi did all of the cocktail and dessert table placement and more. They are a hardworking team and I highly recommend them. From start to finish it was easy and perfectly executed. Point blank the food was delicious and I wish they had a restaurant so I could eat there all the time. LOL Thank you again for your friendship, delicious food and professionalism. *I wish I took pictures.”
