The Little Flower Barn
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Lake Isabella, MI
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,900

The Red Barn, built in 1910 by Mike’s great-grandparents Ernest and Helen Faling, was inherited by Mike in the 1980s. He transformed it into a home where he raised his three daughters. On August 6, 2016, Mike’s oldest daughter held her wedding on the property, inspiring the creation of a wedding and lodging venue. Named "Little Flower Barn" (from "Fiorillo," meaning "Little Flower"), the venue honors the family heritage. In early 2019, Mike and his partner Sarah remodeled the Red Barn to accommodate 17 guests, constructed a reception barn for 300 guests, and added a pond-side amphitheater garden. Little Flower Barn offers a beautiful, functional backdrop for events.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Flexible event spaces
  • Caters to out-of-town guests

Venue considerations

  • No in-house catering options
  • Not for you if you don't want a rustic vibe
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
From our first conversation with The Little Flower Barn, we knew we had found the right venue for our wedding. The team was responsive, warm, and genuinely excited to help us plan our special day without being pushy or overbearing. They trusted us to coordinate our own event and gave us the space we needed to make it exactly what we wanted. The barn itself is stunning—clean, well-organized, and created such a comforting atmosphere for our guests. They even went out of their way to ensure our flowers were delivered exactly where they needed to be. We truly could not have asked for better people to host us, and we're so grateful for their generosity and kindness throughout the entire process.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Comfort Inn! From start to finish, the entire team took care of everything, from dinner and drinks to setup and cleanup, allowing us to truly enjoy our special day without worrying about the details. They went above and beyond by handling so many thoughtful touches we never would have considered ourselves, like bringing our gifts up to our room, preparing and cleaning our room, and keeping everything on schedule throughout the evening. Their attention to detail made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free. The food and drinks were excellent, and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed them. We also can't say enough great things about Elissa. She was incredibly easy to work with, organized, and attentive throughout the planning process. The way she set everything up looked beautiful, and she made sure the entire event ran smoothly from beginning to end. Another thing we loved was the property itself. There are so many beautiful spots around the hotel for wedding photos, giving us a variety of unique and memorable backdrops without ever having to leave the venue.
