I’m an open-format DJ, which in practice means I’d rather read the room than run one genre all night. I take your must-play list and your do-not-play list seriously, then pay attention to what’s actually working once people are on the floor. Communication matters to me as much as the music. I answer quickly, I’ll tell you plainly if I think something won’t work, and you won’t be left wondering what happens next.
