The best wedding venue ever! Thanks to Janna and her team, everything came together so perfectly and went smoothly on our wedding day. The Bluegrass Wedding Barn team brought our wedding vision to life. Planning was so easy and stress free considering we were planning our wedding from a distance and moved states in the middle of the process. It was absolutely magical to walk in to the venue on our wedding day and have everything already set up. Our friends and family were able to just come, celebrate, and enjoy the wedding with us instead of worrying about setting things up and tearing things down at the end of the night. I absolutely recommend the Bluegrass Wedding Barn. They are the perfect wedding venue for anyone who wants a stress free wedding day in the gorgeous Kentucky countryside!

The Ashley Inn

5.0

Lancaster, KY
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

The nostalgic Ashley Inn is the most romantic location for your Kentucky bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding weekend, and out-of-town guests. Celebrate lakeside near a gorgeous weeping willow, on the front lawn of the antebellum mansion, or in our newly-constructed, fully-enclosed Carriage House. The Inn and surrounding 130 acres is the ideal location and comes equipped with all the facilities and staff you need. Step through the doors of this classic federal-style home into a historic picture book. From the white oak floors to the handmade glass panes, experience life in a bygone era. The Inn was conceived in 2007, but this beautiful home dates back to 1840. Built by a southern family whose son-in-law would eventually march by the estate on his way to fight in the Civil War. It has since served as a dairy, a school, and is now the center of The Meadow Lake Equestrian Center, our on-site multi-discipline full-service equestrian facility.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Natural elegance with open spaces
  • Provides setup and cleanup

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
The Ashley Inn was the perfect venue, they have great staff and Heidi is a joy to work with . If you want the ideal Kentucky themed wedding look no further than the Ashley Inn. The venue is nice for out of town wedding party members as the venue sleeps 14 plus people. My only recommendation would be to add additional fans in the barn for late night dancing. We had both barn doors open, but no summers breeze so the barn heated up fast for dancing.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Lush gardens
  • Provides lighting and sound

Silent Grove was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first reached out, the owners were great at communicating with us via phone and text, always responsive and eager to help. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and the owners worked closely with us to make our day perfect. They provided excellent recommendations for vendors and had plenty of helpful ideas for our ceremony and reception. Our ceremony and reception at Silent Grove were truly amazing, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We are so grateful to the owners for all of their hard work in making our wedding day unforgettable!
