For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

Total climate controlled & fully insulated with air conditioning and heating in all seasons. The Barn is a comfortable 70 degrees inside all year around. A 35KW Generac Generator also stands by ready to backup the main facility during adverse weather. Wedding ceremonies can be held outside on the lawn with a barn reception or couples can choose to hold both the ceremony and reception inside the barn underneath the $30,000 Chandelier or on stage. The Barn is conveniently located just 2 miles from Gateway Foodland, Dollar General, Jacks, Buena Vista Restaurant, Subway and Saporre Italian Grille.

Cove Acre Farms was a working livestock farm for much of the 20th century, and still bears the character of those years. It was transformed into an event venue in 2014 by the Wright family. The Johnson family purchased the farm in early 2018 and have since turned it to one of the most unique wedding barns in Alabama. The barn is surrounded by farmland as far as can be seen, with a clear creek that flows through the property year round. The barn is approximately 14,000 square feet including two large, open balconies. The lower level includes bride and groom rooms with private baths. You may hold your event where you would like on the property, though we do have a few suggestions. The barn offers a large room downstairs, and a beautiful wooden dance floor and stage upstairs for indoor events. Outdoor options include: a lovely arbor in a manicured lawn, in front of mature hardwood trees, or one of several creek-side settings.
