The Cellar Venue at Stardust Cellars is the perfect place to host your wedding or special event. Located in Wilkesboro, NC, in the heart of Appalachia, this biodynamic meadery and winery offers a unique experience with some of the finest traditionally crafted meads and wines in the country. With an “Old World European” vibe and mixed natural textures, The Cellar has 12 taps that vary in NC Craft Beers and the SDC brand of custom meads. The property is located on 18.6 acres, including a vineyard, festival grounds, dry camping, a 9-hole disc golf course, a garden, and our main venue building. The Cellar offers budget-friendly package options, plus a friendly staff that can accommodate both traditional and non-traditional events. In the main venue building, your event space consists of over 3,000 sq ft of open space for tables and chairs, a built-in wooden dance floor, a stage, a bar, and more! Our vibe at The Cellar makes it easy for any couple’s event theme to go “moody” or “bright”!

Big R Orchards - Wedding and Event Venue is located on top of Brushy Mountain in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Wilkesboro, NC. Enjoy the beauty and romance of 150 acres of family owned & working apple & peach orchards with a 6 acre lake and golf green peninsula with amazing mountain views. The pavilion was uniquely designed and hand-crafted by friends & neighbors. The elegant bridal suite is spacious with over 1000 sf of space, private bathroom, & hair and makeup stations. There is a full commercial caterer's kitchen, public bathrooms, and grooms suite. The open but covered grand hall is 6000 sf with 2 huge chandeliers, Edison string lights, post lights, and a huge rock fireplace. There are also motorized curtains on the west side that can be closed or opened with a touch of a button. Tucked away on a hundred-acre stretch of land, one mile outside Elkin city limits, Klondike Cabins offers a secluded escape. Original wood beams and early American antiques welcome guests to experience life a little simpler. Surrounded by 60-acres of vineyards, a 2-acre fishing pond, and a walking trail winding alongside the Grassy Creek, days can be filled with discovering what the Appalachian nature has to offer, or cozied up with a book or game of chess next to a roaring fire in the original 1920’s hearths.

As you pass the door, the vineyards unfold before you – the view is reminiscent of a French hillside vineyard. We are a full-service resort with event venues, lodging, a hot tub building, Chez Josephine Restaurant, a beer/wine tasting room, RV Park, and Harvest Host. We have one of the most scenic sites for your event, with 1.5 miles of riverbanks along the Roaring River. Few sites have an actual river, perhaps a creek, but this is the east prong of the Roaring River that flows down from Stone Mountain.
