I am a Chicago-based wedding photographer who loves my clients. I love telling their stories with my images. When my clients look back on their wedding images, I want them to remember how it felt to be there. They never knew the wind was blowing over their back drop and we spent hours making sure it was perfect and still their vision. They did not have to worry about the water being shut off due to someone running over the water main as we rush to fill all of the back of the toilets throughout the night. These are stresses I take care of as the bride and groom swoon over each other on the dance floor enjoying their loved ones. As I spend multiple days preparing the timeline and getting in contact with all of the vendors, my couple gets to enjoy date nights getting to fall in love even more.

We met at a smoothie and film party in college, during which, I (Matt) let out my inner Shakespeare and screamed at Rachel from a balcony. We were married in Texas Hill country amidst close friends. Rachel forgot she needed a bouquet, but a close friend came to the rescue. We made promises to each other and then took time to pray to make promises to God about our marriage. We did without much of the traditional aspects of a wedding: no dancing, no toasts, no exchanged rings, no wedding party…you get the idea…but we did spend 3 hours with their wedding videographers. The day was perfect, because it was perfect for us.
