The venue owners are incredible to work with, we booked during the building phase and they continuously kept me in the loop and sent updated photos! This venue has the best indoor/outdoor experience. If you book, you have to raise the doors during the reception! The twinkle lights reflecting off the river are incredible!

Our wedding day on August 19, 2023 at The Venetian Terrace was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped onto the premises to the final gondola exit, every detail was executed flawlessly. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. This was the only wedding venue we viewed and we put a deposit down the very next morning. Laura McMasters, the wedding coordinator, deserves a standing ovation. Her professionalism, friendliness, and expertise made the entire planning process a breeze. She was always ready to accommodate our requests and ensured that every aspect of our special day was tailored to our vision. Laura's warm and respectful demeanor made working with her a joy, and her meticulous attention to detail truly paid off. We began planning our wedding only 3 months before the big day, and Laura was instrumental in ensuring that our wedding went perfectly. The outdoor setting for our ceremony was breathtaking. Surrounded by the natural beauty of The Venetian Terrace and the surrounding Mandalay Canal, we exchanged vows under the open sky, which added an enchanting touch to the moment. The gondola exit was an absolute showstopper and left our guests in awe. It was a picturesque conclusion to our ceremony, and the Venetian-inspired ambiance added an unforgettable touch of romance. The reception venue itself was a work of art. The elegant decor, the beautiful greenery, and the spacious layout made it the perfect backdrop for our celebration. We received countless compliments from our guests about the stunning setting, and it truly set the mood for an unforgettable evening. Now, let's talk about the food. From the very first day my fiancé and I stepped onto the property to the day we left as Husband and Wife, Chapel Creek Ranch had been the perfect venue and setting. Kyle and Sheena are an amazing team and lovely to work with. They’re always warm, fun, organized and stress free. They’ve done an amazing job with the venue and I know they’ll continue to do amazing for anyone who uses their venue in years to come. The setting is gorgeous, the bridal suite and groomsmen suite are spacious and clean (we had 16 people in our wedding party). The outdoor pavilion is beautiful and the rustic touch and barn style is perfect. The reception hall is spacious (we had 250 ppl and the space was more than enough.) Guest are free to walk around outside. There was plenty of photo and video spots around the venue and our photographers and videographer were happy with the options. We loved everything about the process with them, and the venue. Everything was seamless, professional, fun and loving. Once a private estate, developed in the 20’s and 30’s, Weston Gardens takes you back in time. Developed before air conditioning the entire site was intentionally designed for outdoor entertaining. A historical designation is only one of the unique aspects of Weston Gardens.

The Gardens is by far one of the most beautiful, calm, unique venues I’ve ever been to. Due to its size, there are many configurations of set ups that allows your event to feel one of a kind, yet still allowing a certain level of class and beauty no mater how elaborate or simple you chose to decorate. Mrs. Weston and her staff truly care about every single client that walks in their front door. I’ve had the pleasure of DJing there for over 10 years now. I’ve done all sorts of weddings and events, and each one has had their unique touch to them that has made them special and differentiated them from one another. From a “circus themed” reception, or a polka band perfomance, an axe throwing arena, to a classy shabby chic 1900’s downtown abbey wedding feel; Mrs. Weston and her staff work closely with their clients and share their experience and knowledge of how to achieve that perfect event. I’m not paid to advertise for them, but I’ve been to few venues where you’re not just a “person/client” but you’re family to them. That makes all the difference in the world in a venue. The Gardens isn’t just a venue to Mrs. Weston. There’s so much beauty and history their that she’s opening up a part of her life/home to others - and it shows by how much they interact and care for these events. My favorite part of the gardens, other then it being and feeling like a private botanical gardens, is the boat and the history it brings to the gardens. Back during prohibition, it use to be a speakeasy. Just imagine people back in the mid 1900s wanting to get together and socialize so much that people were willing to risk everything they had for that sense of community… In essence, people have been thriving to party and get together at the gardens for celebrations for a VERY long time, and I personally love being a part of those celebrations out there. There’s a sense of unity and togetherness that I can’t put my finger on, but I’ve not felt DJing in other venues.

Knotting Hill Place has the perfect indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. So many couples love the idea of a beautiful outdoor wedding but what happens if the Texas weather does not cooperate? At KHP we have a 10000 sq. ft. synthetic grass event lawn for the outdoor events and a 300 person dome ceiling cathedral if you would like to move indoors to say I do. Our venue was perfectly designed for weddings. It is all about flow and the guest being able to move from space to space easily and be served quickly so that they all may enjoy their special night. Our bride and grooms suites are the best in Texas. They are large and designed with bridal parties in mind. Complete with a TV screen that can watch the cameras of the rest of the venue, private lockers for the bridesmaids personal items, great lighting and salon style chairs and so on. Let's not forget both bridal and grooms suite have built in blue tooth!

I've had the pleasure of working a few dozen weddings at Knotting Hill Place over the past few years, and this place has truly felt like a home away from home, with each wedding bringing a new experience and ending with big sweaty hugs from another ecstatic couple. Unlike many venues which are just a shell for investors to churn & burn as many weddings as possible, KHP is a family run operation where the owners take a great deal of pride in helping their coupes create magical events. The venue is kept in pristine condition and updates are always made as needed. The close-knit office staff works together very closely and is intimately familiar with not only the couples they work with, but those others are working with as well. Their vendor list is very selective an they will only recommend top notch professionals, and they assure that every couple works with professional planners to assure event days run as smoothly as possible. As a creative, one thing that I really love about KHP is how they give us all the freedom to do our best work. While it may sound obvious, many venues limit what creatives are allowed to do in their space, ultimately hindering the artists abilities to create the best experiences possible. KHP works with all of their vendors to make these things possible, and I have no doubt that this has hugely contributed to their success. I'm looking forward to many more events inside these walls- and in the back of that beautiful property too!
