As a photographer, I am not the outsider looking in. I am not the fly on the wall. I am a storyteller and in order to do my job well, I have to be more than an outsider, more than a fly on the wall, more than a vendor and certainly more the "the help". When Andrew and Kathy were photojournalist their thief was story telling. As they got married and started a family, the focus shifted to their children and the couple used their creativity to tell a new story – first steps, trips to the park, birthdays. Soon, Andrew and Kathy began helping other couples tell their own stories, of engagements and weddings, babies and anniversaries. Those stories built the foundation of Yellow House Images. Today, Yellow House remains a family-run business but the family has grown.
