In 1902, Elmer Thomas and his wife purchased the plot of land right off Peach Glen Road in Gardners, Pennsylvania. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. On The Hill Events is a newly built barn style venue, nestled into a beautiful string light lit, wooded, private location in Tioga County, Pa. This large venue can host up to 350 guests comfortably and can accommodate for all weather conditions. The 6,600 square ft main floor offers a well-lit, but dimmable space, heated concrete floors and a large ash wood dance floor. Above the dance floor is a loft for musicians or DJs. The beautiful live edge bar area includes everything you'll need except the booze and the bar tender. It has a two keg kegerator with built in wall mount taps and an icemaker. The spacious, full service kitchen has everything but the caterer and the lease includes all tables and chairs. Upstairs is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom loft with central air. Conestoga House & Gardens is a historic wedding venue located in Lancaster, PA. The manor was originally owned by Christian Hershey, of the chocolate family, who built the house in the 1700s. During the 18th century, it served as a tavern on the Conestoga wagon trade. In the mid-19th century it became an inn and hosted numerous travelers. Purchased by James Hale & Louise McClure Steinman in 1927, it was fully renovated and restored in 1930 by architect Frank J. Everts. Among the venue’s many visitors was the great-nephew of Edgar Allan Poe. Today, the estate abounds with natural beauty, where it boasts 3,300 varieties of annual flowers, 160 perennials, 160 rose bushes, and 400 tropical plants. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.
