“I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding without Evelyn and the Love & Laughter Weddings team. We live out of state and got married at my family’s estate in Carmel by the Sea, so from the beginning I knew we needed a wedding planner. We worked with Evelyn for about a year and a half and somehow every detail turned out even better than my pinterest dreams.
Evelyn is truly a rockstar!! She is organized, kind, patient, and has this incredibly calming presence that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay, even when your anxiety has you convinced it is not. She was there for every planning call, every random question, and every panic email I sent after having some ridiculous wedding related dream in the middle of the night. Nothing ever made her seem overwhelmed. She would just calmly talk me through it, come up with a solution, and suddenly whatever I was stressing about didn't feel like a big deal anymore.
We also used their in house design services, officiant, and live music and I cannot recommend them enough! Having so much of the wedding managed under one roof made planning SO easy and everything was incredibly cohesive.
At some point during planning Evelyn told me that the goal for wedding day was “no thoughts, just vibes” and that became our running joke, but she was completely serious lol. When the wedding weekend finally came, I genuinely turned my brain off. I wasn't checking the time or worrying about setup or wondering what was supposed to happen next. For the first time in a year and a half, I wasn't thinking about the wedding, I was just IN it and enjoying it because I knew Evelyn had everything covered.
Hiring Love & Laughter was hands down one of the best decisions we made. Evelyn, thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams and for allowing me to actually experience and enjoy it instead of managing it. I would hire you again and again a million times over.”
