Zingerman’s Bakehouse is an artisanal bakery with a baking school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We started 30 years ago as a simple bread bakery with a single customer, Zingerman’s Delicatessen. Today we make bread, pastries, cakes, lunch items (and so much more!) that we proudly serve to guests in our bustling shop, our Zingerman’s partner businesses, the southeastern Michigan community and beyond.


The championship golf course provides a gorgeous backdrop whether you're celebrating indoors or out. You'll also have a choice of multiple ceremony and reception sites, all of which are surrounded by lush lawns and thick groves of trees. Natural light fills the banquet room through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This versatile space includes a large wood dance floor, and it adjoins an open-air patio, a tented area, and an outdoor tiki bar, making it easy for guests to mingle beneath the stars in the evening. You can choose from a plated or buffet dinner menu, both of which feature delicious classic entrées, skillfully prepared in-house. We offer seven distinct spaces, including a fragrant Herb Knot Garden, colorful Perennial Garden, the serene and intimate Willow Pond Island, or the summer-blooming Gateway Garden. All outdoor weddings include an indoor backup space in case of inclement weather.

Our second floor space has the capacity for dinners, parties, after party receptions, wedding rehearsal dinners, and private events for up to 40 people. It’s been our pleasure to host graduations, retirements, and birthday parties in our private dining space, and to give these celebrations the atmosphere and attention they deserve. We have also been host to many University of Michigan department functions and have menus that are geared towards fitting the UM guidelines to make the planning process hitch-free.

Stone Chalet is a great place to have and to hold your wedding, reception and rehearsal dinner. When you rent the entire facility you'll have complete privacy and connection with your closest family and friends. Stone Chalet is only available for weddings under 100. The spaces at Stone Chalet are very flexible and each wedding party has shown us how creative people can be with the use of all the spaces. The Circ Bar and Root is a gorgeous dual venue that offers an experience unlike anything else. It has rich history dating back to the 1850's where it was most likely the first brewery in Ann Arbor. This historic building combines the original wood, brick, and stone with modern elements to create a stunning industrial bar setting. Guests often begin their day enjoying the open air with a ceremony on our Roof Deck. Our Lounge, with its large windows overlooking the Roof Deck, sets the perfect scene for cocktail hour. From there, guests move into the main bar, Circ, to enjoy dinner. This space has a 30ft wrap-around bar, built-in stage, and plenty of exposed wood and brick. Once dinner wraps up, guests are in for a treat since the rest of the evening takes place in what some call, "Ann Arbor's best kept secret." Guests head downstairs to Root's stunning caverns to finish off the night with dancing, drinks, and dessert!

Concourse Hall offers a spacious 3575 square foot floor suitable for dancing and receptions. The maple floor with sprung construction and finish is ideal for dancing. The warming kitchen is perfect for catered meals and the high ceilings and numerous windows create a light and airy venue for any event.

From bridal showers, to rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions, we have the ideal space to host your special day and all the festivities leading up to it. Our classically elegant ballrooms can be rented partially for intimate receptions or in full for over-the-top celebrations. For couples who wish to incorporate an outdoor element in Ann Arbor, we offer a private third- floor terrace to continue the celebrations outside. Hey, Im Jarrett and im an utterly hopeless romantic. Before photography, I had my career goals set for becoming a head chef at a restaurant in NYC. However, in 2010 I had an idea that would change my life forever. I decided to take a leap of faith, I walked into a local wedding photography studio and asked for a chance to become an intern. The position was of course unpaid, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and long weekend hours. I worked there everyday and every weekend honing my craft and paying my dues into an amazing art form that would become my food, dreams, and air.
