Timing always matters. How do you know the best time to mail your cards?
- Save-the-date cards: 6–8 months before the big day
- Invitations: 6–8 weeks out from your date
- Ask for replies 3–4 weeks before the event
- With a far-off or travel-heavy event, you’ll want to send each of these types at least 2–4 weeks earlier
