Jen Fariello Photography is a fine-art lifestyle & wedding photography studio specializing in unique imagery with exceptional service. Jen is a 1996 UVA graduate with a degree in Studio Art. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder; Jen Fariello finds it wherever she goes.

Each wedding is unique and my goal is to tell your story in pictures in a classic yet artful way. I believe the wedding photography experience is just as important as the final product and we strive to exceed all expectations.

    Truly the best

    Jen photographed our wedding and did an incredible job while somehow making sure we had fun (I'm nervous in front of the camera!). I have never felt so photogenic or seen SO many perfect photos that captured our friends and family. Not only did she get beautiful stills, she also captured a million amazing moments that we will treasure forever. Jen truly is the best.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Always, I’ll bring one or more talented and highly professional assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. Happy to recommend the best in the biz so definitely ask!
I create a "sneak peek" gallery usually within a 2 days Typically, you’ll be able to view the full image collection online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
Every wedding is unique and there is no set number but you can expect about 150-200 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 20 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Absolutely! Film is my passion but both me and my associate photographers always shoot both film and digital. We utilize every took available to us to make classic, artful images.
