Flight

Getting to Chicago

Chicago is home to two fantastic airports—O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW). You can't go wrong with either, but we recommend flying into and out of O'Hare. You have the following options to get to the downtown area from O'Hare: - Public Transit: Take the Blue Line train from inside the airport to the Washington stop. Please consult a service such as Google Maps to help you get to your exact destination. - Lyft or Uber: Head to the rideshare area to call a car. The rideshare area is broken up into color sections, so when you open the app, put in your color section and have them take you directly from point A to point B! - Taxi: You can call a taxi from any terminal, so it is honestly easier and faster to call than Uber and Lyft. However, it is double the price of rideshare, so you may want to keep that in mind.

Hotel

LondonHouse Chicago

85 East Wacker Drive
Chicago, IL 60601
 (312) 357-1200

There is no hotel block, but the brides will be staying at LondonHouse Chicago for the wedding weekend. We would love to have our friends and family in the same hotel, so we welcome anyone who would like to stay with us, but feel free to stay wherever you would like! LondonHouse Chicago is a beautiful Hilton hotel overlooking the Chicago River, and is home to one of the most popular rooftop bars in the city. It is located right next to great Chicago landmarks such as the Chicago Theater, Marina City, and the Riverwalk. It is also walking distance from some tourist favorites such as Cloud Gate in Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, Sears Tower, and more! We hope that you will choose to stay with us during this very special weekend! NOTE: If you are hoping to be a tourist while in the city, we do not recommend that you stay near the wedding venue because you will be out of the way of many tourist attractions. If you plan to be a tourist, LondonHouse is a great option.

Train

Chicago Public Transit

The most cost effective way of getting around Chicago is public transit. We recommend getting one of the following unlimited-ride passes depending how long you plan on staying in the city: 1-Day CTA Pass for $10 3-Day CTA Pass for $20 7-Day CTA Pass for $28 You can purchase a pass by going to any subway/train station and going to one of the many CTA pass machines. For those of you taking the train from the airport, you can take a train directly from the airport to downtown. You can purchase a pass from the airport station.
