Since coming to Chicago, we have really missed being involved in football culture, and are now proud Bears fans!

Emily said, "yes to the dress" at Lovely Bride Chicago with her mom

Emily's ring uniquely symbolizes our two families coming together. The gold came from Emily's mom's wedding band and the halo diamonds came from a pair of earrings passed down to me from my dad's mom.

We do everything together--including graduating from Florida State University in 2017.

We recently said good-bye to our first apartment in Lakeview, but now, we have a wonderful new place in Andersonville

Nicole proposed on July 5, 2019 in Highlands, North Carolina

We met because we were roommates, but we really became friends and fell in love by being in the Marching Chiefs together

One of the coolest things we have done together was going to India and seeing the Taj Mahal. It was an experience we will never forget and being with part of our family made it that much better.

On our second anniversary, we fulfilled one of Emily's dreams of swimming with the manatees

One of Emily's favorite places in Highlands is Sunset Rock, which is aptly named for its perfect view of the sunset over the Highlands downtown area. We went there right after getting engaged.

If you know one thing about Emily, it should at least be her obsession with Harry Potter.

Emily's favorite Disney character is Donald Duck, and he was very excited to find out we got engaged!

Chicago summers are known for their summer festivals, and our favorite is MidSommarfest in our home neighborhood of Andersonville. There are crafts, food, and our favorite, an ABBA cover band.

Emily did an amazing thing and got her Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University!

While visiting Emily's family, we took a quick trip over to Gulf Shores, AL.

Not only were we in the Marching Chiefs together, but we were Big and Little Sib.

Emily has been on a fantastic running journey and she has been getting stronger, better, and faster every single day.

Our first Pride Parade...EVER!

In Tallahassee, all of our special milestones were celebrated at the Melting Pot. This lovely moment happened after Nicole passed the LSAT.

What is our number 1 date night? Seeing a musical of course! The abundance of broadway musicals and plays is probably the best part about living in Chicago.

We have been to the Art Institute of Chicago about a thousand times, and we are ready to go about a thousand more times. If there is a new or special exhibit in town, you will probably find us there.

Nicole absolutely loves the National Parks, and going to the Great Smokey Mountains was a check on the bucket list.

In our opinion, there is no greater football event than the FSU v. UF football game, and there is no better way to experience it than tailgating with the people we love most.

If we could fault Chicago for one thing, it is having sub par seafood. We absolutely love seafood, and look forward to the next time we can have a proper crawfish boil.

Chicago has a yearly Christmas fair called Chriskindlemarket in Daley Plaza, and we look forward to collecting the coveted "boot mug" every single year.

Nicole received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in May 2020. But half of that degree is Emily's because she could not have survived it without her.

We adopted our perfect little Aussiedoodle, Tally, in April 2020. Nicole is definitely her favorite, and Emily pretends like that's not true.

We have some of the best bridesmaids of any brides ever. We found the perfect dresses at Jenny Yoo.

Every year on St. Patty's day, Chicago dyes the river green. It is a really cool tradition, but because Nicole was in law school, she only had time to see it once in three years.
