Hey, I'm Amber Michelle, the founder of The Vintage Experience (2021). We specialize in documenting life and love entirely on super 8 film and instant photographs. We love meeting couples, individuals, and creatives who appreciate all things nostalgia, art, and vintage. We offer services such as documenting weddings, elopements, events, fashion, and more - with the option of providing second shooter services. Now based in Texas, our business operates by purchasing film, documenting events, shipping the film for processing and development, receiving the film, editing it, and creating unique highlights.

We differentiate ourselves by exclusively shooting film in a digital world, capturing a look of nostalgia that cannot be truly replicated by digital programs. There is a demand for this as people seek to express their artistic side through the medium of film. For us, it's not solely about capturing retro style images; it's about slowing down to tell real stories in time. We want you to see the genuine and unscripted moments that will warm your heart each time you revisit them. As creatives, it’s our job to notice the small details. We want to create unforgettable memories of your experiences with attentiveness and care.

For your wedding day coverage, you get Amber and her assistant as your all day personal documentary team capturing your precious moments on super 8 film and instant photos. You will receive a photo album with your instant images and a four to six minute super 8 highlight reel to take you back anytime, anywhere to your adventure.     Amber is amazing. She captured the most precious moments of our wedding day on all on super 8. Even though we already had photographer she was hired as an add on for film coverage — best decision ever! We loved the sound of the film whirring. She is warm, helpful, and excited to be there. She was at the right places at the right time. Her super 8 highlight went above and beyond our expectations. It truly looks like a vintage movie, our family will cherish this forever.
