Wishing Pond Events, a family owned and operated business, is an event venue built from locally sourced lumber that sets a rustic tone. Looking over a 4 acre private pond in Dayton, Maine; you get the taste of the woods while being only 15 minutes away from the ocean and 30 minutes away from Portland. The facility holds 150 guests comfortably, with the option of renting a tent for the lawn to accommodate a larger guest list. The facility also provides two spacious bathrooms and ample parking. Book your event in this private intimate setting to use this canvas to create your memories.

    From the moment we booked Wishing Pond Events for our wedding, their communication was easy, prompt and incredibly helpful. The team made sure everything flowed in a timely manner and calmed my nerves throughout the day. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, cozy and elegantly decorated, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. We and our guests were in awe of the stunning scenery and impeccable service. Wishing Pond Events truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect in every way.

    Wishing Pond Events was the perfect venue for our wedding day! From the moment we first met with Jenny, we were impressed by her enthusiasm and passion for wedding and felt very welcomed by her and her family. The venue itself is stunning, with a beautiful water fountain ceremony site and a spacious, clean reception hall that could be styled in virtually any way. Jenny always went above and beyond, consistently checking in with us long before the wedding to ensure everything went off without a hitch. On the day of, Jenny was on top of every detail, down to making sure our wedding party walked out at the correct time! She made sure the day was everything we had dreamed of. She even served as our vibrant and energetic DJ, keeping the party going all night long. The day was truly perfect, and we owe that to Jenny, her family, and the entire Wishing Pond crew.     This venue was absolutely perfect. Very peaceful and the staff was very professional. The on house DJ was top notch and knew how to entertain the crowd with timing and vibes. Outdoor space is perfect with a great view and a pond! Highly recommended!
