Designed as a fully immersive wedding weekend experience, Wicklow allows your ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, and overnight stays to unfold together in one beautifully connected setting. Originally established as a major rice plantation in the early 1800s, Wicklow Hall was once owned by the prominent Lowndes family. After decades of various uses—including a stint as a hunting lodge—it was meticulously restored by current owners David and Judith Rinella.

Seated Events: 35 to 115 guests. Large Receptions: While focused on intimate gatherings, some layouts can accommodate slightly more for cocktail-style events; it is best to verify your specific floor plan with their team.
The estate can accommodate up to 30 guests across its various suites and cottages. This makes it ideal for the wedding party and immediate family to stay together for the weekend.
The Lodge: Sleeps 8 (includes a chef's kitchen, hot tub, and fire pit). The Cottage: Sleeps 7 (a restored 1831 residence). Suite Six: The primary bridal/luxury suite. Additional Suites: The Camellia, Oak Room, Bungalow, Captain’s Quarters, and Jewel Box (mostly sleeping 2 each).
Wicklow Hall generally works with outside professional caterers, though they have an adjoining professional catering kitchen for your team to use. They often provide a "bicycle basket" Southern breakfast for on-site guests as an add-on.
Yes. A licensed and insured event planner is required to book with Wicklow Hall, with the exception of our elopement package.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. 50% of the final payment is due 30 days prior to the event.
You’re welcome to come as early as needed to set up for your event. If you’re staying on property, check-in for guest rooms is 2 p.m. unless requested otherwise.
We’ll work with you in advance to designate your preferred getting-ready spaces. Many of our couples utilize our bridal suite in Suite Six!
Yes. For safety and to protect local wildlife, events must conclude by 11 p.m.
We provide exterior power. All other sound or AV equipment should be arranged through your entertainment vendors.
Yes. While we provide complimentary breakfast for overnight guests and can arrange catering for rehearsal dinners, you are welcome to bring in outside catering. We also offer an on-site bar for rehearsal dinners, though we recommend using a licensed and insured bar service for full event coverage.
Yes. We provide parking for all overnight guests, with an additional 20 spots for daytime guests.
Due to the historic nature of Wicklow Hall, the property is not handicapped accessible.
Yes, select accommodations are pet-friendly.
Yes, full property rentals are available, allowing couples and their guests to stay on-site and celebrate all weekend long.
