About this venue

The Gallery at The Gillioz is a historic hideaway! ​The Gillioz Theatre has been a landmark on Park Central East in downtown Springfield since first opening its doors in October 1926. Since that time, generations have made memories here. Ornate gryphons and cherubs on the walls and columns oversee the festivities, as they have for nearly 100 years. A hidden jewel of the Gillioz is found on the second floor in the Gallery. The Spanish Moroccan architecture shifts from textured Centiva tile to 90-year-old oak floors. Ten-foot windows overlook Park Central, and sheer curtains take the saturated, programmable light and spill it out for passersby to wonder at the festivities within. Wedding, reception, special event, or corporate gathering - The Gallery at the Gillioz is the ideal setting for making memories of your own.

    The Gallery at the Gillioz is an excellent wedding venue choice. Their communication throughout the planning process was very effective and complete, making them extremely easy to work with. The space is very well maintained and professionally staffed, providing great value for the cost. I've had the pleasure of working with them on multiple weddings and special events, and they have consistently delivered a seamless experience for both the couple and vendors.
