We are a historic hotel in Northern California, near the redwoods and the ocean. Our boutique hotel has 23 reimagined rooms all renovated within the last 6 years. The building retains it’s historic charm and elegant woodwork.

    DO NOT BOOK!!

    We had high hopes for Scotia Lodge because the venue itself is genuinely beautiful, but unfortunately our wedding day was ruined by poor staff management and lack of coordination. From the moment we arrived, we dealt with hostility and unprofessional behavior that added so much stress to what should have been one of the best days of our lives. The event coordination was basically non-existent—things that should have been planned fell apart, and no one seemed to take responsibility. While the space has real potential, the staff made this the worst wedding experience we could have imagined. We can't recommend Scotia Lodge in its current state, and we'd strongly encourage couples to wait until management changes before considering this venue. The beautiful location simply isn't worth the heartache their team caused us.
