    Not great service

Honestly, I feel like this venue just cared about making money than anything. We had a venue tour booked with our florist and the day before they cancelled it since they said someone else booked it. Then 6 weeks before our wedding they told us we couldn't have our wedding rehearsal because someone else booked it for the day before our wedding. During our communications nobody was really all that eager to help us find a solution. They just said "sorry" and expected us to be fine with it. We had such strict timing too that we couldn't come in not even a minute early (we literally stood outside the door on our wedding day until the clock hit 10am exactly) and we had to be out by 11. We could "buy" more hours in the morning but only up to 2, and in reality only getting 12 hours with your booking is really tight for a full wedding day. Really sucked the joy out of the whole experience. Also - for some reason the wedding venue was SO HOT on our wedding night. They said the air was on so I don't know if it was broken or they just didn't turn it down for us. Honestly was a damper on me and our guests and made it more unpleasant to dance and enjoy the night. We were sweating just standing there and my guests were trying to keep a positive attitude for me but I could tell everyone was so hot and uncomfortable. Last, we thought this was a more affordable price, but since the venue is open booking - we ended up adding 12,000 in just needing to rent the tables/chairs/tablecloths/food setup/etc. Would've been better off to find a venue that is more expensive rental fee but includes those things. Only thing I'd rave about with this venue - THE BAR! The bar manager was absolutely incredible and they were so easy to work with! We did signature drinks and our guests raved about how great they were and service was incredible. Really stinks that the rest of the venue didn't quite live up to the 11,000 rental fee.

Hi Hannah, First and foremost, congratulations on your marriage! We are truly saddened to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, as our primary goal is always to make our couples feel celebrated and supported. We completely understand how stressful wedding timelines can be. To help clarify, our standard 14-hour block includes 12 hours of active event space use, with the final 2 hours strictly reserved for vendor load-out. Because we host multiple events, we do have to adhere strictly to contracted start times to ensure the venue is pristine and fully prepared for your arrival. We are so sorry if this made you feel rushed on the morning of your wedding. Regarding the complimentary rehearsal time and the florist tech scout, these are offered based on venue availability. When another client books a full event for those dates, our policy requires us to prioritize the paid rentals and reschedule complimentary appointments. We always try to mitigate this, which is why we provided 6 weeks’ notice regarding the rehearsal space and added an extra hour to your wedding day timeline to try to make up for the shift. We are so sorry if our communication felt transactional rather than supportive during that transition. Finally, we want to sincerely apologize for the temperature on your wedding night. Our team confirmed the settings were correct on all of our thermostats, but we discovered the following morning that one of the 8 AC units that services our building had unexpectedly frozen up which effected the temperature in dance floor area. These units are serviced monthly so this was truly an unusual occurrence. We are deeply sorry this happened during the reception. Thank you for the kind words about our Bar Team, we are so glad you enjoyed the service as we feel they are one of the venue’s greatest assets! We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us refine how we communicate and care for our couples. We wish you and your husband a lifetime of happiness together. Best Wishes - SAINT ELLE

    Best venue!!

Saint Elle was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. From start to finish, their communication was efficient, professional, and quick, and they were incredibly personable throughout the process. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, spacious, organized, and modern - the perfect backdrop for our special day. Saint Elle and their staff kept everything on track to ensure our wedding day went smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy the celebration with our loved ones. We are so grateful for the role Saint Elle played in making our wedding day perfect. Highly recommend!

Beautiful venue, but that's where the dream ends.

My husband and I wed at Saint Elle in June 2024, and before booking the venue, it was my dream location. However, following the payment, we were not valued as customers. Positives: The bartender, Michael, was an all-star from beginning to end. He was very patient, walking us through the best bar options and signature drink options. You could tell he genuinely wanted to make this experience one that would be memorable. From the moment the event deposit (the full rental amount) was made, we received less-than-stellar customer service. We didn't feel like a couple about to wed at a dream venue; instead, we felt like a date on the calendar. There were limited options to tour the venue with our vendors. There would be last-minute cancellations without guaranteeing that a future reservation could be honored. For example, we wanted to have all of our vendors tour the venue at the same time on the same day, and because of the venue's last-minute cancellation, we had to book separate walk-throughs for each vendor. We did not have the opportunity to host a wedding rehearsal at the wedding venue itself (because it was hosting another event the night before our wedding). We had to have the rehearsal at our wedding planner's office, which ultimately created issues during the ceremony because the wedding party needed a practice where the ceremony would take place. My first recommendation for this venue and its owners would be to block off the date before a wedding to rehearse proactively. That would've lessened the stress the wedding planner, vendor, and wedding party had on the wedding day. In the middle of our reception, our wedding planner was told that all belongings of the groom's suite needed to be cleared out. Previously, our wedding planner requested that no one touch the items in the groom's suite, as they were kept safe and had limited access (the groom and wedding planner were the only ones with the code to access the suite). She made this request not to take us away from our reception festivities. A venue representative ignored her and personally began removing all of the groom and groomsmen's belongings. In response, our wedding planner relocated the personal items to the bridal suite so that the venue would not dump them elsewhere. When my husband found out, he questioned the venue representative about why the items were being removed in the first place (again, this was not at the end of our rental but during the reception). The representative claimed this was a contract clause (items need to be removed). At this point, my husband did not revisit the contract because all personal items had already been moved (however, during our honeymoon, my husband reviewed the contract again, which made no mention of suites, let alone the groom's suite), In response, the venue representative said the items had been moved because there was "no one to watch the suite." When asked again, the response was "to ensure no one brought any outside alcohol in." To be clear, our reception was an open-bar event--there was no need for anyone to bring outside alcohol into the venue. Lastly, one final recommendation: Saint Elle needs to better highlight diverse couples and vendors who use their space on social platforms. It's unfortunate that we witnessed the magic that our wedding planner and photographer created and captured for us (a black couple) and not have that reflected in Saint Elle's marketing.
