Located in Chicago’s popular West Loop neighborhood, we offer an unparalleled choice for weddings. The building’s industrial character is preserved with touch points inspired by historic municipal buildings, while classic details and finishes enhance the space’s timeless decor. Skylights run the length of the building and bathe the space in natural light, accentuating the intricate iron trusses and exposed brick original to the structure. Refined finishes such as laser-cut art deco steel panels, a 37-foot marble bar bring a modern industrial look to the space. The adjunct bar, named Recess, is the perfect location for cocktail hour or post reception celebration. Awash in natural light, the dining room is anchored by a 40-foot wooden bar. The roll-top glass-paneled garage doors open directly onto the massive patio which is surrounded by shipping containers, creating a playful West Loop paradise. In the middle of the patio, a square raised platform can act as a center-stage.

City Hall Chicago boasts 5,400-square-feet of flexible event space, with a separate grand entrance on Kinzie Street. The column-free hall, with its soaring 40-foot-high ceilings, 37-foot stone bar and industrial-elegant architectural detailing, is a striking venue for large-scale events, meetings and receptions. City Hall Chicago also includes a fully equipped wedding suite/green room along with additional bathrooms on its Mezzanine Level.

    City Hall was such a perfect event space for us!! We got so many compliments on how cool the venue was and Ashlei was such a dream to work with!! It’s a relatively large space that can fit way more people and I was worried about my smaller guest count (80) but the space is so versatile that my concerns totally faded away during the final walk through. Loved having this space and after party right next door at recess!

First things first, everyone at City Hall is not just good but utterly fantastic. Shoutout to Mandy – she's not your typical coordinator; she's more like your enthusiastic partner in crime. Mandy's bubbly, responsive, and oh-so-much-fun to work with. She made the whole wedding planning journey feel like a breeze, and we genuinely felt like we were planning our special day with a friend. Now, let's talk about flexibility. City Hall didn't just accommodate our needs; they welcomed them with open arms. I must've visited the venue a dozen times for the quirkiest, most random requests, and every time, they were like, "No problem, we've got you!" Going the extra mile? Absolutely. And here's the icing on the cake – City Hall has these incredible relationships with other wedding vendors. Our other vendors absolutely adored working with them, and it added this amazing synergy to the whole event. Everything just fell into place seamlessly.
