Yes. Chaval offers distinct spaces for private dining and events, including the Main Dining Room, Back Room, Wine Room, Patio, and a separate downstairs Private Dining Room known as the PDR. Availability depends on the date, group size, and event format.
Chaval offers several event spaces, from smaller private dining options to larger restaurant gatherings and buyouts. Guest capacity depends on the room, event style, and seating needs, so the best next step is to submit an inquiry with your preferred date, guest count, and event type.
Chaval can host weddings, rehearsal dinners, private dinners, cocktail parties, and full restaurant buyouts. The space works well for events that feel intimate, festive, and centered around food, wine, and hospitality.
A limited menu is required for parties over 15 people to ensure the best possible service. All pre-set menus utilize entrees from our existing dinner menu unless otherwise specified.
Minimum spend for the PDR starts at $700 (or $75 per person), with a $750 minimum required for pharmaceutical dinners. The BDR requires a $2,000 minimum, or $700 for two hours and $1,000 for the entire day for brunch. The Patio requires a $2,000 minimum, which is subject to change depending on weather. Combining the back room and patio requires a $5,000 minimum, while the FDR ranges from $3,000 to $5,000. Full restaurant buyouts range from $5,500 to $6,500 in the winter and $10,000 to $15,000 in the summer.
Parties over 15 guests use a pre-set menu featuring entrees from our existing dinner menu to ensure the best service possible. Menu packages are priced at $55 per person for two courses, $75 per person for three courses, and $85 per person for four courses. Any pre-set menu that includes steak as an entree selection must be priced at a minimum of $60 per person.
For large parties over 15 guests, drink menus are limited to ensure fast and high-quality service.
For parties of 4 or more, cancellations made within 72 hours incur a $25 per person fee. For room buyouts and pharmaceutical dinners, cancellations made between 8 and 21 days prior incur a $25 per person fee, while cancellations made within 7 days incur a $50 per person fee.
