Welcome to R Wittwer Photography! My photography business started in New Mexico 4 years ago taking portraits and family pictures. After I moved to Utah for school, I realized I loved capturing all the wonderful emotions that come with engagements and bridals! Unfortunately I realized I wanted to make this pivot at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, when people started putting off their weddings. Then 2021 happened and I got back on track! I have loved every minute of it. I am so excited to work with so many loving couples like you to help you capture your excitement and joy on one of the biggest days of your lives!

I pride myself on being fun, easy to work with, and efficient! I love nature and natural light and those loves are reflected in my editing style: bright and true-to-color! During your wedding day, I strive to capture all the happy emotions that go into your big day! You'll receive the perfect blend of candid and styled. We absolutely loved working with Rachel! She did an incredible job capturing all the beautiful moments from our special day. We appreciated how communicative she was through the entire process from the very moment we booked her as our photographer, and we were really impressed with how detail-oriented she was. There were a lot of details and moments throughout the wedding day that we didn't know to expect, but she was prepared for it all and made the whole experience feel so seamless!

Typically, couples book me at least 4 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. My books are open for about a year and a half out, so if your timeline is longer, feel free to start the booking process!

Some of the packages I offer include a second photographer. Other times I may have assistants or photographers who are shadowing me. If this is the case, I will give you a head's up!

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also will do some light retouching. Additionally, you will receive unlimited edited photos, meaning I will return as many unique photos are I deem appropriate!

I do! Some of my packages come with a wedding highlight video, or it can be added on later. I have examples up on my website and YouTube. I capture video snippets throughout our sessions and your wedding day and creating a beautiful video backed by music that will give you the extra perspective and way to remember your big day. Perfect for if you aren't wanting to hire another video team, or are wanting a simple video.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Most packages also come with 48 hours sneak peeks, with about 10 photos edited and available for download and usage!

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

In my 3 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my associates. I will choose a photographer from my team--who I've worked with, trust, and even trained--to help you receive as close to the same experience as you would have with me! They will take the photos and I will edit them and return them to you as normal.
