I am a full-time, published photographer from Kentucky, here to make sure your everyday moments become magical, timeless pieces of art. I am a perfectionist when it comes to capturing your most important OR most everyday moments in time. Originally from Louisville, I now live in NKY near Cincinnati and travel back and forth often! I studied fine art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and received my BFA in 2013, and my fine art background definitely plays a huge part in my photography.

The art of images has been a lifelong passion of mine, and my photographic artwork is heavily influenced by my training in the visual arts and art history. I work with my clients and couples to create timeless yet modern pieces of art that authentically tell their story, and I can take a directorial approach for anyone who needs that little extra "hype woman" to help get amazing candid moments captured! I have an inclusive business, and I want everyone I photograph to feel comfortable and truly themselves-- I don't Photoshop anyone to modify their bodies, nor do I attempt to document photos uncharacteristic of a couple's personalities.

Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date! I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability (aka, once you've got your venue booked), as I might have availability for your wedding or elopement!
I have a couple packages that include a second photographer! Sometimes, I’ll bring one an assistant or a new photographer who wants to shadow me, and I discuss this with my couples beforehand!
I just moved to NKY, and I do most of my sessions in Louisville. I take session bookings in Louisville, Cincinnati, Lexington, and NKY (and i am willing to travel)!
YES! A thousand times yes. I will travel to you or with you for a session or a wedding/elopement (some travel fees may apply, especially for overnight travel or long distance driving).
It will take about 6-8 weeks for me to edit and deliver weddings and elopements. I send all my wedding/elopement couples sneak peeks ASAP so you get to see some right away! For other sessions (couples/engagements, boudoir, etc), I will schedule an image reveal appointment via Zoom for clients to pick out the images included in their session package, and order anything additional!
Literally everyone is really awkward in photos! I have couples worry about being stiff and awkward, and then they end up having the most natural, lovey photos ever! I can use pose prompts if we need them, and I won't force you to do any poses that make you uncomfortable. Trust that I'm going to be way more awkward than you are!
Depending on the time of year (and daylight saving time), I recommend late afternoon/early evening for that gorgeous golden hour light! If that doesn't work with your schedule, we'll roll with it and I can make even bright sunlight work in certain locations!
In case of REALLY bad weather (I’m talkin’ thunderstorms and unrelenting rain), yes; and of course in case of emergencies. Rescheduling depends on my availability, and things do book up about 3 months in advance. If the weather is threatening scattered showers or sprinkling, I encourage going through with the session as scheduled. I keep clear bubble umbrellas around and they're SO CUTE in photos!
You can expect about 70 to 100 images per hour of photographing. This will depend greatly on the wedding itself, your timeline, etc!
