Hi everyone! Some people call me ShaKeira, some call me Keira Belle, Kay, Kei-Kei, Kei, the list goes on. Call me what you want, but just know that I am that photographer that's probably going to call anybody and everybody by a nickname! All jokes aside, I love many things about life, including my dog + husband the most (yes, they are equal.........maybe........I think the dog wins, but that's just me!) I love all things food and sweets. Call me for a night out and I ask, "but where are going to eat??" I love traveling, going to the beach, playing videogames, drawing, Lana Del Rey, movies, and a neverending array of things. :-)

What sets me apart from many photographers is my natural eye for design. I come from a field of architecture, so I see the world around me differently! Designing for people means considering SO MUCH from how you enter into a building, how people interact with spaces, to how someone sees a space and experiences the "wow" moment! I continue that "wow" moment in all my photography and your special day is going to be "wow" and "awe" when I am shooting!

    Beautiful work!

    Keira did such a wonderful job capturing photos of my engagement session! We did a mini session and can't wait to post these everywhere. She is very communicative, has an eye for capturing the best shot, and has an aesthetically pleasing editing style. Bonus points for also directing us on super cute poses! Would highly recommend Keira to anyone looking for engagement pictures in the League City/Houston area.

    AMAZING!

    Keira was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire process! We had constant communication about what I wanted and the vibes for our wedding and made sure that everything was ready. She even came to the venue the day before to do a walk through with us. The day of she was amazing and supportive! Things weren't going exactly to plan but she helped to calm my nerves. And none of this speaks to the actual images!!! I was in absolute awe when I saw the pictures she sent! Keira is phenomenal at what she does!!!

    Keira is a KEEPER!

Typically, couples book me about 6 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra! This comes as a part of the standard wedding package with 6+ hours or more. Your guest size must be over 100 people to require a second shooter.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I always tell everyone, before booking with me, please make sure that you are in love with the style of editing. These are your special day that cannot be redone! I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season and by whichever package you choose. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. Sneak peeks come anywhere between 7-21 days depending on my schedule and offpeak/peak seasons. All images will be delivered digitally, in high-resolution, and fully edited!
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing for the standard wedding package. For the elopements and/or micro-weddings, you can expect 50-70 images per hour. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Additional edited images add-on: If you have purchased a full session: Every 5 images - $15. Every 10 images - $25. Every 15 images - $35. Every 20 images - $45. Every 25 images - $50. Additional outfit change - $50 per outfit per session. Three-day delivery rushing fee - $75 only. No less than three days allotted.
Well, living in Texas calls for the most unpredicatable weather as we all know it! We all know weather can be questionable, especdially during spring and summer months. If the weather is not looking too good on the day and time of your session, I will reach out and reschedule your shoot as soon as possible.
As a matter of fact, I do! Please check out my website for pricing on all other sessions. As of right now, I have couples, portraits, families, branding, graduates, engagements/proposals, and events (bridal showers, birthdays, baby showers, etc.). Please reach out to me if you would like to book any of those other session types.
No, you won't be able to receive the RAW/unedited pictures at the end, as my editing is part of my work too. If you'd like to purchase additional edited images on top of what the packages have stated and what we have agreed on, please refer to the ADD-ONS section under the Pricing and Packaging page.
I do not provide videography, I only provide photography. I am more than happy to recommend videographers for your special day and work with videographers as well!
There is a retainer fee because when you book a session with me, that means I have reserved that time for you specifically. If the shoot is canceled last minute (within 7 days before the scheduled date), it is hard for me to quickly find another client; on top of that, you could have possibly taken someone's spot when they also wanted the same time slot. Therefore, I require a non-refundable retainer fee prior to the photoshoot. Until the full payment is received and paid in full, nothing is booked or set, which means your desired time slot is still available to other potential clients.
The differences include the time coverage and the amount of images you get. Wedding packages is great if you have a traditional/typical wedding timeline that includes details, getting ready, first look, vows, bridal party portraits, couple portraits, group portraits, ceremony, receptions, exit/send off, etc. Whereas Elopement packages are shorter and will only cover the ceremony, couple portraits, and group/family portraits. This is suitable for court house, city hall, adventure, two of you + officiant type of weddings! Custom packages are still available, please reach out if you have additional questions!
