Hey! I'm Emilie, photographer, world traveler and story teller. I am currently living in Florida while building out a bus to live in and travel the country (and maybe even the world) photographing and telling love stories! I started photographing weddings 6 years ago but I have been capturing memories for as long as I can remember, I can't go anywhere without a camera! I've traveled all over the world telling love stories and every couple I meet is just as inspiring as the last. If you'll have me, I would love to be a part of your story too!

Big World Photography isn't just about wedding photography. It is about the in between moments. The small moments that make up the big ones. This big world is made up of so many small intimate moments, these are what I aim to capture. I strive to photograph the emotion behind the big day. The tears shed when daddy see's his little girl for the first time on her wedding day. The raw emotion of awe, wonder and love on the face of your partner when he sees you walking down the aisle in all your beautiful wedding glory. I am here to laugh with you cry with you and tell your story the way it was meant to be told.

    Amazing Photographer You Won't Be Disappointed!

    Big world photography did an amazing job!!! It took me 6 months to find a photographer because I am picky!! Emilie was heaven sent. From the communication before, to our big day, and trash the dress everything was flawless. She is creative and is an amazing photographer. Our pictures are incredible, we get to relive our day every time we look at them. They really tell the story of our wedding day. Emilie was so efficient and captured all the pictures we wanted on our wedding day in a timely way that gave us more time to enjoy ourselves with our guests. Thank you big world for capturing all the big and small moments of our wedding. It's been three months since my wedding and I still look at our album and feel like I'm back on my favorite day. Words can't describe how thankful I am to have found Big World!

    Passionate and Talented!

    Emilie did so amazing I can't even begin to describe how happy we are with her work. The energy she gives off is so positive and welcoming, it feels like your shooting with an old friend. She is so passionate about photography, every photo was creatively and thoughtfully planned out. She truly has a heart for adventure and it translates into the photos she takes, with the most unique locations and truly original ideas. So grateful we found her for this special day.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All usable final images that are not duplicate images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a sneak peak of some favorite pictures from the day. once the photos are done you will recieve an online gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can download and share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
