My Hero!

I cannot say enough good things about Draven—she was an absolute lifesaver on my wedding day and beyond talented at what she does. I completely messed up my timeline and didn’t leave enough time for hair and makeup for myself, but she was so calm and professional. She quickly adapted and started doing my makeup while the hairstylist was working, helping us catch up. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. She helped so much with my self confidence by helping me to cover up acne scars on my face, chest, and back. She did an amazing job and made me feel like I didn't even have them. But what really made the experience so special was how she made the women in my life feel. My mom looked at herself in the mirror afterward and said it was the first time she’s ever felt truly beautiful. That moment meant everything to me—I’ll never forget it. She also did the makeup for my husband’s grandmother, who lit up afterward and kept thanking me for including her and making her feel so special and beautiful. It was one of the sweetest parts of the day. On top of all that, my husband’s family is Black and Brown, and there was a little nervousness from them beforehand about whether the makeup would suit their skin tones. But everyone looked amazing—glowing, radiant, and completely themselves. She really knows how to work with a wide range of skin tones and brought out everyone's natural beauty.
