When it comes to planning your party, designing your flowers, creating a custom installation, or managing your wedding, we will pull design inspiration from your passions. We love creating slightly unorthodox, yet timeless celebrations that are as approachable as they are elegant. We are planners for the new fashion bride. Building from a background of project management, interior decorating, and event planning in the Memphis area, we want to harness the things that make you unique and mold it into an occasion that expresses your personality in a classic and romantic way.

We are not only florists, but we are also a full-service wedding planning and designing company. We describe ourselves as the nontraditional, traditional southern wedding planners, but we've worked with every style and color scheme under the sun! We specialize in creating a stress-free and streamlined planning process while designing the wedding of your wildest imagination

    Love!!!!

    We had such an awesome experience with Kelsey and Connor and Co. She was so helpful during the entire planning process and really helped us think through everything and map out what we needed to take care of. On the day of the wedding, Kelsey was assertive in the best way, extremely organized, and made everything happen. We didn't have to worry one bit because we just knew she was handling everything. Kelsey also did our florals, and they were EXACTLY what we envisioned. We couldn't have been happier! Highly recommend working with Connor and Co!

    Connor & Co Events was so easy to work with. We originally began working with Kelsey for the flowers for the wedding, but she morphed into a planner for us. She took the ever changing times of a COVID wedding and helped come up with new ideas and ease the stress of planning during that time. Highly recommend them for all types of event needs!

    I booked Kelsey at Connor and Co for some balloon creation and installs for an outside event that I held. She arrived on time and was ready to get to work. Her creations were amazing and my membership is still talking about how awesome they looked. I have even had several people ask me for her contact information to use her services. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Kelsey has been planning all kinds of events for over 10 years (birthdays, holiday parties, concerts, fundraisers). Connor & Co. officially began after her wedding in 2016 and she has been planning weddings officially for 5 years.
There is so much to advise but first and foremost know you get what you pay for in this industry. The professional vendors we recommend are trying to pay bills and give your big day the focus it needs! And in order to do that and give you a stellar experience they need to be priced appropriately.
I started planning events in highschool for a couple of business owners and LOVED it. I also took horticulture and loved getting to play with plants and flowers. I worked in the music industry planning events, fundraisers, and concerts and knew I wanted to do events but still wanted something more. Then friends started getting married, and the rest is history.
Our office is smack dab in the middle of Memphis, TN. This allows us a broad range of locations we can service. We try to stick between Nashville, Little Rock, and Oxford but are open to going to other locations. Message us and let's chat about options!
We have our business license, we are registered as an LLC, and have been certified by the Bridal Society. We also have business insurance. However, there isn't technically a licensing company for wedding professionals (such as a contractor or cosmetology license). We do go above and beyond to learn all there is about the industry and its ever-changing needs though and attend at least 2 workshops.
For our largest package, we will select vendors and negotiate contracts if necessary or desired but the final signature and payment comes straight from you. We want you to be aware of who is selected and where the money is going. Also, we never take a commission from our vendors, we know they have gone through the process of calculating their costs and priced themselves accordingly.
Yes! We are experienced and all of our planning literature has been crafted to be inclusive (if you ever find something noninclusive please bring it to our attention), and we like to challenge heteronormativity and gender roles in the wedding industry on a regular basis.
Get an ideal date, guest count and budget in your head then head to see a wedding planner! Even if you mainly just need someone to help pull your day together they can get you headed in the right direction. Some people check out a venue and photographer in these first steps as well but a planner can help make sure your budget is being allocated in the best places!
We handle vendor communication, logistics, and timing to make sure your event is flawless in your guests' eyes. It is like a steering wheel and gas pedal of a car, you can have all of the other parts and it will run but who knows where it will go or how fast, you need someone overseeing the grand scheme of the day and ensuring everyone is in communication and working as a team.
I would never say they can't, some are very organized and would do a good job. However, we have been doing this for years and have seen everything under the sun, we help you avoid those mishaps that come up before they even have a chance. These people also probably want to enjoy the party and it can be hard to manage everything while you are on the dance floor.
Not generally, we can do a lot with smaller budgets. Most of our weddings that you see start at 20k. The main thing to keep in mind is that the lower the budget the lower your guest count needs to be to pull together your dream event. Also, come in open-minded if you have a strict budget, we will suggest cost-saving options.
We love planning weddings of all styles. We specialize in nontraditional weddings but love everything from modern industrial weddings to southern backyard weddings to ornate victorian weddings.
