FOR OVER 34 YEARS, PATTY LONG CATERING HAS BECOME A HOUSEHOLD NAME WHEN IT COMES TO UPSCALE FULL-SERVICE CATERING IN THE ST. LOUIS AND SURROUNDING AREAS. IN THE SPRING OF 1986, JOAN LONG AND DEBORAH PATTY DECIDED TO PUT THEIR LOVE OF THE CULINARY ARTS TO WORK AND STARTED A SMALL CATERING BUSINESS AND BISTRO IN LAFAYETTE SQUARE. JOAN OPERATED AS PRESIDENT UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2019. IT IS NOW OWNED BY KAREN HALPER, WHO CONTINUES THE MANY TRADITIONS THAT JOAN AND DEBORAH STARTED AND OUR CLIENTS LOVE. WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON SERVICE AND CREATING EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCES AND WANT NOTHING BUT THE VERY BEST FOR OUR CLIENTS. WE WELCOME YOU TO EXPERIENCE.

    Wonderful experience

    Because of the pandemic lockdown, we were forced to postpone the May wedding, and then forced to reschedule two more times! Patty Long worked with us throughout this difficult planning process, responding promptly to any questions, and offering a wonderful array of options of very high quality. PL did the sit down dinner at the reception, but also a picnic for us the night before the wedding Tower Grover Park. Servers were friendly and efficient. All the food, including food for the picnic, was outstanding. Andrea was a joy to work with. We could not recommend PL more highly

Yes, we charge a standard fee for delivery within 5 miles of our Central West End location. Additional fees may apply to deliveries to other areas.
Yes, we offer complimentary tastings for you and a guest. If you want more guests, a small fee may apply.
We recommend meeting 2 more times after your event. One meeting will focus on finalizing menus and headcount. One to go over final venue and wedding logistics.
We are full service. We will take you on a walk-through of available rentals and work with you to find options within your budget.
We serve all of Saint Louis and surrounding areas but can travel up to 2 hours away. Fees will apply.
We can provide individual Kosher or Halal meals and customize fully vegetarian or vegan menus as well as other dietary restrictions.
We complimentary cut and serve your wedding cake to your guests.
For summer and fall weddings, we recommend at least 10 months in advance.
Currently we are waiving all food and beverage minimums.
