About Holy Rollie Pastry Shop

Holy Rollie Pastry Shop

Holy Rollie Pastry Shop is a boutique cinnamon roll bakery located in Irving, Texas. We have been treating the DFW metroplex to small batch, made from scratch cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, cream pies and cake rolls since 2020.

Our assorted cinnamon rolls have different flavored doughs, filling, icings, and toppings. Each bite is layered with flavor to satisfy your sweet tooth. Our options range from our Traditional roll with cinnamon-sugar filling to Red Velvet with a chocolate bun, chocolate chips in the filling, and topped with a smooth vanilla cream cheese frosting. Our rolls are egg-free and many can be dairy-free upon request.

The service was nice and place is okay. No high chairs for kids. The cinnamon roll was hard and not that good. Definitely need more improvement on it. Its a one time and will not go back.

Had visited several times when this shop first opened, and enjoyed the food as well as conversations with the owner Kym. As we are both Black business owners, we had similar mindsets and attitudes on how to run a successful business. The last 5 times I have TRIED to visit have been terrible, with her co-owner running things. Biggest frustration is he doesn't adhere to their listed business hours. They rarely seem to open at 8:00 anymore. Twice I went around 9:30 and they were closed on weekdays. Even when they have been open, his customer service skills are atrocious. Even something so small as him choosing to park his vehicle at the closest spot to the entrance. Common sense is employees should park further away and leave the prime parking spots for your customers. I just don't think he has the business acumen to be running the store. I hope Kym comes to the same realization before it's too late. The guy has a horrible personality too, is very rude and acts like he hates his job and his life.

The best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had! I’m not a sweets person, but I make an exception with Holy Rollie. I would describe them as a good balance of fluffy and dense with a more gooey center. I got hooked when I tried the Banana Pudding Rollie. Now I come back at least once a month to try all the flavors. My favorite so far is the peach cobbler. I was ecstatic when I realized you can order any flavor in a 4-pack from their website with 2 days notice, even if it’s not on the menu. The best staple item I’ve had is Strawberry. There’s real strawberry pieces in it. Same with the peach cobbler, it’s topped with real peaches. Genuinely impressed at how each flavor is brought to life. Also, if you ask nicely and are willing to wait, they will make a rollie fresh for you if they’re out. You can tell this is a labor of love. The owners are so kind, especially Kim. She makes me feel like she’s known me forever when she talks to me. Also, they support other businesses - check out the merch section. I bought a reflection journal a while ago and really enjoyed it. I’m constantly telling friends about this place. I pray God blesses them for many years to come.

We had 3 cinnamon rolls. Regular, Ube and maple bacon. We were disappointed in all 3. The rolls were dry, over cooked and not enough icing. Also I feel like they were overpriced for the size of the cinnamon roll. We won't go back.
