Artful Cakery by Julie

I have been baking most of my life and began decorating in 1997. I made my first wedding cake in 2009. I opened Artful Cakery by Julie in 2013. I have also been a bakery manager at a major grocery chain in the southeast. I enjoy designing and decorating many types of cakes and desserts for weddings and other special occasions.

I really like to think outside the box when it comes to wedding and groom's cakes. I have made 3-D ships, insects, a wild boar, cars, trucks, food such as hamburgers, hot dogs, sushi, a stained glass lamp, guitars, large mouth bass, rainbow trout, bulldog, a replica of a sorority house, and more. I love working with nontraditional textures and unexpected themes for showpieces people will talk about long after your event.
