The Dickens Opera House, a venue located in Longmont, Colorado, harbors a rich history and legacy from its beginnings in 1881. William Henry Dickens, who originally built the opera house, obtained the land through his father who was given the land by Ulysses S. Grant. The Agave Room is a Fort Collins special event venue with a spacious, historic ballroom located in the heart of Old Town. The ballroom has beautiful hardwood floors, large windows, a suspended balcony, along with 25-foot high ceilings. The Agave Room occupies the entire 2nd Floor of the infamous Rio Grande Building with a private entrance and stairway to the ballroom.
