I’ve always had a love for flowers and a passion for creating beautiful things! My love for flowers and weddings started eary, long before I ever held a bouquet of my own. I grew up watching my grandmother work in the floral and wedding industry, and some of my earliest memories are of modeling flower girl dresses at bridal shows, wide-eyed at the beauty and joy all around me. Those experiences left a lasting impression, and it's no surprise that I eventually found my way back to this world, creating floral designs that bring happiness and meaning to others.

Thatch Design & Goods sources flowers from farmers that we know by name and that have farming practices that support the health of the environment and have a commitment to care for their staff. We also strive to create minimal waste with our work, to recycle, and to compost.

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. It started on a small vegetable farm outside of Seattle. A love of growing vegetables turned into trying my hand at growing flowers. Eventually, a niche was found and I started growing flowers for weddings. Growing flowers turned into a love of making bouquets and designing centerpieces. Along with that, came a love of getting to know the couples I was working with, understanding the vision that they had for their wedding day, and finding the decor that would bring that vision to life. I love setting the mood of an event with beautiful lush flowers and decor that make you and your guests feel welcome.
