My husband and I got married here in 2022 and it was perfection! From planning to wedding day everything was so easy and stress free. My husband and I had our bridal shower "I Do BBQ" at Lost Woods and it was absolutely perfect! We rented out the barn and were able to comfortably entertain 50-60 guests with plenty of extra space. It was the perfect setting for our event. The chickens and gardens near by were the perfect touch. Lauren was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely accommodating and was always able to easily be reached and answer our questions. We will definitely be back to Lost Woods to stay a weekend in their amazing glamping sites!

My wedding at the Embers and Ash Farmhouse was truly a dream come true! From the moment we toured the property, we knew it was the perfect place to say “I do.” The rustic charm of the barn was breathtaking, it was the perfect space for our band to play and for dancing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how magical it all felt. The carriage house made for the perfect bridal suite, giving me a private, cozy space to relax and get ready with my girls. The staff was so attentive, making sure everything went smoothly and that we felt completely taken care of. For dinner, we opted for a whole hog roast right on the property, and it was an unforgettable experience. It added such a fun and unique touch to the evening, and the food was absolutely delicious. The night ended with a spectacular firework show as the sun went down—it was the perfect grand finale to our perfect day. Every detail, from the stunning views to the warm ambiance, was more than I ever could have hoped for. Embers and Ash gave us a wedding we’ll remember forever, and we can’t recommend it enough!

The Foxglove Farm

5.0

Suttons Bay, MI
  • Up to 160 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $10,000

The Foxglove Farm aims to marry the beauty of the Leelanau Peninsula's natural elements with simplistic and modern design. Within the 130 year old barn are clean lines, consistent outlines of contrast and a color palette reflective of the wide open view from the cherry orchard. We believe that no two events should look the same at The Foxglove Farm. By offering a forest alcove, orchard inset, restored barn, wildflower field & lakeview outlook, the options are endless. Whether you're looking for a dark, moody farm-to-table gathering in the woods or an intimate ceremony enveloped by cherry blossoms, the 140 acres are yours to set the scene. Please reach out through our website if you don't hear back from us here on Zola!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Dressing room available
  • Natural elegance with open spaces
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
  • No in-house catering options
The Foxglove Farm is by far one of the most special venues in Northern Michigan, if not all of Michigan. The Barnes family took such care and gave deep consideration to the property's history and how it could best serve their clients & community when restoring the barn and planning out the space. You feel the family's warmth and thoughtfulness around every corner--whether you're a client or a vendor. From a design perspective, one of the things that I love about Foxglove is that the space really speaks for itself; not much is needed, yet so much can be done to enhance the natural beauty and make the event "yours." If I could only ever work at Foxglove, I gladly would... heck, if I could live at Foxglove I'd move in tomorrow!

The Farm at Frog Hollow is an event venue with a difference. Architecturally, the barn is referred to as a “monitor” style, and its distinctive look was developed in the 1890s. The Farm at Frog Hollow lends itself seamlessly to a myriad of events, from weddings to parties, from showers to concerts.
