Designed to celebrate natural beauty from the inside out, our cake layers are baked with organic eggs and local ingredients including tri-color carrots, seasonal berries, and even local spirits and craft beer from time to time. We use botanical extracts to naturally color buttercream and style our cakes with wild foraged edible flowers, freshly-plucked herbs, culinary greens and blushing fruits on the vine.

Uncommon Cakes specializes in unique and custom flavors (think Crème Brûlée, Cardamom Strawberry, Brown Butter Bourbon Peach, and Chocolate Earl Gray Hazelnut) for cakes, cupcakes, and other treats for your wedding or other celebrations in central Virginia (Charlottesville, Nelson, Amherst, Lynchburg, Crozet, and surrounding areas).
