I began my career as a Pastry chef with my degree in baking and pastry arts from the Culinary Institute of America in 2006. I moved to Las Vegas to prove to parents “baking wasn’t just a hobby” I worked my way up the culinary ladder working for Thomas Keller, Jean Georges, Joel Robuchon & Tom Coliccho, including catering to celebrities and high need clientele 24-7. After I had my son, my life took a change and I found myself to be a single mother looking for a better life. I met my husband and he has encouraged me to take my passion for cakes to another level. CAKElyfe by Nattie J was born and now I’m a stay at home mom/custom cake artist.

I am a small business that operate in Cake decorating, wedding and party planning. I have a degree in pastry and baking from La Cordon Blue. I started in the restaurant industry, as well as the hotel industry. I have over 5 years working for the Ritz JW Marriott LA Live.

I am a self taught cottage food baker located in Las Vegas. My specialty is decorated sugar cookies that are as good as the look! My soft, buttery cookies will not only wow your guests with my attention to detail but their taste as well! As well as cookies, I love to work with buttercream cakes. I use an Italian Meringue buttercream that tastes absolutely amazing. It has a velvety texture and is not as sweet as your regular buttercream.
