Lovework Weddings grew from the unshakable commitment and passion for my wife. Our mission is to capture and inspire love in the world. I didn’t always think so highly of weddings. I was happily in love with my partner, Jenn, and I knew I would always be faithful to her. Marriage didn’t seem so important. After filming my first wedding, it all clicked. I realized that your wedding day is one of the few days when you experience pure bliss. I finally understood the importance of celebrating the love and commitment shared by two individuals.

Anywhere near the ocean is where we like to be. I prefer historical places to modern venues, climbing stairs to elevators, and good puns over sounding sophisticated. I love immersing myself into the family traditions. Blending right in as one of the family members on a wedding day is vital to capturing authentic moments. Oh- and I usually make friends with the dog first. There is no destination too far or an idea too crazy—I have hung off the bow of sailboats, woke up at 3 am to film meteor showers and filmed backward on rollercoasters to document couples’ love stories. - #loveislove

I did not not grow up with a camera in my hand knowing I wanted to be a photographer. I started with photography by photographing Punk/Hardcore bands but eventually stopped photographing those shows because I didn't want my camera gear to get broken by someone stagediving. Being apart of that music scene help me cultivate friendships with people all over the world, and gave me lots of travel opportunities. Those experiences carried over into weddings helping me understand real documentary style moments and being comfortable surrounded by new people.
