The entire venue is yours, and this includes surround sound music (yes, you may cast up your own device!), 2 ideal photo backdrop walls, 8 tables, 30+ chairs, a lounge area, and free parking. A projector and small screen for PowerPoints/presentations (and laptop computer) are available upon request if needed! Microphone available upon request. High-speed wifi for all guests. Seats up to 32 guests comfortably and is completely BYOB (alcoholic or non). Cater in a meal or just provide finger foods for the guests. We provide a mini-fridge, plastic cups, bottle openers, and large ice bins to keep your beverages cool. Incorporate gift-opening, party games, awards/ceremonies, and decorations if you wish.

Buss Farms is a working cattle farm situated on 50 acres just outside of Columbus, OH. Our Venue provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions with endless options to make your special day unique! We are close enough to the city that there are several hotels just a few miles away, yet far enough into the country to enjoy the privacy of being surrounded by nothing but trees, cornfields, and wildflowers. Our Venue features a beautifully outfitted 1902 modern farmhouse that is home to the bridal suite and grooms room. Most receptions take place in the main barn, a late 1800's historic structure. Attached to the main barn is the "White Room" which features and indoor/outdoor bar with exquisite views.

Our history: The Friesian Empire Events Center was originally founded in 2002 and formerly known as The Friesian Empire and Equine Center. It was described as the largest Equestrian Facility in Franklin County. Horse enthusiasts flew in from around the world for horse Shows, clinics, auctions and Friesian horse inspections. The owner wanted to expand the facility to something that could include more than just horse owners, but people who appreciate the serene setting of a horse farm for their special event. The conversion process has taken over years to complete. The owner was able to keep the essence of the horse farm but with the feel of an elite and unique events center. Our property has nearly 50 very scenic and wooded acres with 2 large ponds. Our venue consists of approximately 42,000 SF of indoor entertainment areas, not to mention the outdoor entertainment areas! We are equipped and permitted to hold events that include up to 1,888 people (total interior occupancy).

We are a newly renovated and conveniently located hotel just 1 mile from OSU campus and just a short drive from Downtown Columbus, Short North Arts District and many more of Columbus's hot spots. We have 3 different event spaces at this hotel. Our Scarlet & Gray room can seat up to 60 in rounds and 80 in theater style. The room can be split into 2 separate spaces for more intimate events such as rehearsal dinners or bridal showers. Our buckeye board room can seat up to 12 in conference style. We also have a special wedding package available that offers complimentary meeting room space if 20 or more rooms are reserved.

Currently part of the East Town Historic District, the home was built in 1852. This historic landmark incorporates elements of the Greek Revival and Italian styles and was part of the Underground Railroad. The rooms are decorated to display the style and materials available during this time; most of the furnishings visitors see were owned by the Kelton family. The gardens feature statuary, hedges, and diverse plant specimens that demonstrate a Victorian sensibility and are the perfect spot for your event!
