Couples love our flavors as much as the look, from classic Vanilla and Chocolate to specialties like Lemon Blueberry, Blackberry Vanilla, Strawberry Lemonade, and Cookies & Cream. I got my start many years ago when I was living back home in Chicago, at a cute little bakery, that I still visit to this day! I went back and forth between working in graphic design to cooking and baking. I started working in the bakery at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center as a part-time line cook in 2013 and in 2015 a became their in-house cake designer. In 2019 I decided to leave my position at the hotel and opened Sugar Flower Cake Design. I love seeing the joy when my clients cut into their cake and take their first bite - it makes life much sweeter! - Jennifer Smith

Hello and Welcome to The Bun Bar! I’m Savannah, the creator, and brains behind the buns. Before you order our sweet and savory buns for your next event, let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and a recent grad of the University of Iowa. My love for all things food doesn’t have a starting point, it has always been part of my life. I started The Bun Bar in hopes of sharing my love of baking with others. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy customers and bringing people together to enjoy a sweet treat!
