Our original officiant had to step back very last minute, and we were so nervous about finding someone who would understand the vision we had for our ceremony. We connected with Yvonne who was already booked for our day, but she put us together with Stephanie, both of whom went above and beyond for us and our wedding day!
Stephanie took the time to get to know us on a Zoom call, listened closely to what we wanted, found ways to understand us on a deeper level, and crafted a ceremony that felt deeply personal, heartfelt, and us. She delivered it beautifully, warm, genuine, and full of intention. She made our guests laugh, cry, and feel every moment right along with us, and they are still talking about her!
Right before I walked down the aisle, when nerves started to set in, Stephanie noticed me feeling panicky and immediately stepped in after only meeting me for a quick moment. With such conviction in her voice, she reminded me why I had done all of this, helped me refocus on the meaning of the moment, and even did breathwork with me until I felt calm again. It was one of the most grounding, beautiful gestures of my day, and something I’ll never forget.
Even after the wedding, because we couldn’t find our marriage certificate on the day of, she and her husband met up with us to sign it, and we left that meeting feeling like we had made real friends. I truly feel like that speaks volumes about her character.
