I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. While planning my wedding in 2020, I struggled to find an affordable, budget-friendly bar option. I was eventually able to book a couple bartenders, but it got me thinking. After researching and figuring out all of the moving parts, Happiest Hour was born. The second my husband and I landed back in Texas from our honeymoon, we quite literally hit the ground running. I previously bartended at a wedding venue occasionally throughout college and my husband has taught me how to use every power tool in the book. It all came together and it has been an absolute dream come true!
