The Carmichael House, a wedding venue situated in Jackson, Georgia, carries within its walls a rich and full history. This historic mansion dates back to the year 1898. Today, this venue, which is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been renovated and restored to provide couples with a vintage and elegant site for their bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Its interior boasts a gorgeous bridal suite, several intimate entertaining spaces, and five luxurious bedrooms able to accommodate up to 14 overnight guests. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Holberg Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Inn with nine guest bedrooms still has its original features: Georgia heart pine floors, ornate tin ceilings, elegant light fixtures and chandeliers, and eleven fireplaces. Our two story grist mill dates back to 1860. Hold your event on the newly constructed decks surrounding the original structure. Mill Creek is an intimate wedding and event center for all occasions, nestled on 10 wooded acres in Griffin, Georgia located on US-19 right on the Pike County line. Our venue features amenities found nowhere else including the pre-civil war grist mill, open air pavilion overlooking the creek side ceremony area, a large cottage house dedicated to our couples to get ready in. You will love the bridal side and a private groom’s loft. In addition, the venue has onsite decor, catering prep area and 3 guest restrooms conveniently located.

The Estate at Elegant Occasions offers a southern wedding destination, historic mansion, climate-controlled barn, multiple outdoor ceremony sites, vineyard and waterfall for your wedding day. Couples will enjoy a private bride and groom's suite and full use of the estate.
