We found Dubsdread well before our wedding date. Many people recommended the venue to us, and after having the wedding there we can see why. Our coordinator David and the rest of the team were nothing but accommodating to us from the start of the experience. The food was amazing: we had the Prime Rib, Chicken Piccata, and Mashed Potatoes. All excellent choices. The appetizers were great too. The day went smoothly and all of our meetings with David leading up to the event made the planning aspect feel fun and productive. It was truly a pleasure getting to work with them and have our wedding at this venue.

Step through the old metal gates and you'll discover the rustic and industrial, yet warm environment of a space revitalized from a turn of the century airplane hangar. Speakeasies may no longer be illegal, but their hard-to-find entrances gives a sense of exhilaration when walking down a dimly lit alleyway and passing through nondescript gates into a subterranean world of tinkling glasses and spirited history of our hidden hangar.

We got married here on one of the glass bottom boats (Chief Potackee, the ADA one) and it was incredible. I did all my communication with them (Mackenzie) thru email as this was a destination "elopement" style minimony for us. Communication was incredible, all my questions were answered promptly, the boat was lovely and they were super accommodating the entire day. Captain Bill was also super amazing and accommodating the day of the rehearsal. The boat ceremony was very untraditional which was super us and we loved- however I will note that if you're looking for the traditional aisle walk, with ceremony starting immediately afterwards, the boat may not be what you're looking for. There technically is a "bridal room" for getting ready, but it's only included if you also book the ballroom reception space. I got a hotel room at the Holiday Inn across the street and got ready there- which was totally fine. Bride, groom & all guests/vendors are requested to get there 30 mins early, to get everyone on the boat. Then bride (and father/whoever) walks to the boat. No music (wasn't a problem for us, probably could have been done if you're creative about it tho). There is a bit (10 - 15min) of a boat ride to the ceremony "staging" area, in which you cannot stand because the boat is moving. Once you get to the staging area, you can stand and the ceremony starts. When the ceremony is over, you sit again and have whatever time left of the hour to do a mini boat tour. I would 1000% recommend this experience to anyone looking for a nontraditional ceremony experience.

February 12, 2022 was the wedding of my youngest daughter at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The venue was beautiful when we were choosing a venue, but the night of the wedding it surpassed all our expectations. As it is important to have a great venue, it is just as important to have a team of people to make the whole experience great. We were so fortunate to work with Laura Segal and Kelsie Taylor and their entire Dr. Phillips team. We cannot praise them enough for helping make my daughter's wedding a very magical and beautiful life event that will always be remembered. Everything was just done with class and they accommodated all our wishes. Our guests were blown away with the venue, from entering the building to the sensational rooftop to the magical Devos room. You must have the large windows open as it is just amazing, like nothing we have seen and we were blown away. On the night of the wedding, Laura oversaw everything to ensure all went as planned and it did with flying colors. I also want to note that the server staff were amazing and my guests made many comments praising them for their professionalism and for being so personable. I also want to note that I was a very detailed and involved parent with the planning and wanted the best possible wedding for our children. Laura and Kelsie were patient and very accommodating to our requests and only wanted us to have a great wedding. My wife and I, and the groom's parents were just so happy with how the wedding went and are thankful to all for making it a day to remember, especially for my daughter and her husband.. Again, Many Thanks to all at the Dr. Phillips Center. To all reading this review and recommendation, Do not hesitate to have your special event, wedding or other, at this venue!!

This was the best find out of all the wedding process. Cindy and her venue were amazing. Super kind, fantastic service and worked really hard to make our dreams come too. We were on a really tight budget but monarch Meadows is stunning and affordable. Alot is included in the price. The team at Renaissance Sea World is one of the best group of professionals! They are courteous, timely, and really care about how your event goes. I have had the pleasure of working with them many times and each time has been stress-free. The event space is beautiful for hosting and there is a huge outdoor lawn for ceremonies which is hard to find in Orlando. The comfort of your guests staying on property while having access to Sea World across the street is truly unique!

Rick was very open, communicative and set up several planning meetings to make sure we had everything we wanted to create the perfect Pakistani-American fusion wedding. Rick was so easy to work with, had great energy, enthusiasm and professionalism. When the weather turned to rain for our outdoor ceremony he didn't waste a single second and saved the day. He also went out of his way to learn Pakistani/Muslim traditions and was very open and respectful of dietary restrictions and everything else. Rick and his staff made sure everything went smoothly for our perfect day!

I feel very fortunate that we were able to celebrate our wedding at such a beautiful venue. The setting was truly stunning, and leading up to the big day, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They made the planning process smooth and stress-free, which I really appreciated. Additionally, the list of recommended vendors they provided was absolutely fantastic. I have to give special thanks to Four Rivers Barbecue, Cocktails Catering, and Kaleidoscope Lighting, all of whom made the actual event so easy and seamless. Their services truly elevated our day and helped everything run smoothly. However, my experience on the actual wedding day was unfortunately not as positive. From the moment my bridesmaids and I arrived, the venue attendants were unwelcoming and made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. There was no greeting, no introductions, and no effort to make us feel comfortable, which was especially upsetting on what was supposed to be one of the happiest and most important days of my life. Additionally, there were issues with museum guests still being present less than an hour before our event began, and we had to ask multiple times for them to leave. This should have been handled by the staff, as it added unnecessary stress to the already hectic pre-wedding preparations. At the end of the night, the venue attendants started telling our guests that they needed to leave in 20 minutes, which was perfectly reasonable. However, they failed to inform me, my bridal party, or the groom about this timing, which created confusion and made the event's conclusion feel rushed. While I didn’t use a coordinator because I felt confident in my planning abilities, I would have appreciated receiving the same time warning that was given to a few of my guests. It would have helped us to better manage the end of the event. To make matters worse, as we were breaking down, the attendants were rude to both myself and my guests, which was extremely disappointing. There is definitely a way to be firm yet kind, but that wasn’t the approach we received. Overall, while the venue itself was beautiful and all of the staff were great leading up to the day, the attitude and behavior of the venue attendants on the wedding day really left a negative impression. I hope they can address these issues for future couples, as it detracted from what should have been a perfect day.
