He honed his craft and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the famous Juilliard School of Music in New York and received a Master’s Degree from the prestigious Yale University. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.

Carte Blanche is a 6-piece jazz ensemble based in New York City that performs international jazz classics from the 1920’s to the 1950’s. Featuring accordion, violin and female vocals, the group has performed around the globe. With their unique international sound and glamorous vintage style, Carte Blanche transports its audiences to times gone by with original renditions of classic songs in 7 languages – English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Yiddish. The ensemble’s versatile instrumentation has a rich captivating sound which brings elegance and refinement to any event.

OPOV Band is a well established band in business since 2014. We are currently an 10 piece band and 1 sound engineer. Our instruments are Drums, Bass, Keys, Guitar, Trumpet, Trombone, and Saxophone. We currently have 1 male vocalist and 2 female vocals. We do have the ability to add instruments and vocals upon client request. All of our musicians are experienced, professional, and seasoned. We enjoy playing good music covering various genres such as Motown, R&B, Soul, Pop, Classic Rock, and Rock 'n' Roll.
