Lifepoint Chapel was built shortly after the end of the Civil War in 1869, and its earliest features have endured: 19th-century windows, white pine flooring, ornamental ceilings, and even the original church bell! This chapel seats 120 guests, along with beautiful amenities for your wedding party. We believe it’s not just about the wedding, but about the legacy your marriage will create. It would be an honor to be a part of the beginning of your story.

Plan your wedding on the charming grounds or in the historic 1845 New School church. With exclusive use of Mill Race Village, your wedding can be held any time of the year. In the Church or outside in the gazebo, weather permitting, your ceremony will be a memorable event in this picturesque Victorian setting. A Village Representative will be with you during your event to open and close the church and to keep the public off the grounds of the Village while your wedding is in progress, ensuring your privacy. Couples must provide their own clergy or officiant to perform their ceremony. Decorating the wedding site and clean up of the site is the responsibility of the couple. If you're planning an outdoor event for your wedding the Church is available for use in case of inclement weather.

What bride-to-be could resist her Fairy Tale wedding in an elegant, romantic castle ballroom? Also available on the grounds of Canterbury Village is our own Wedding Chapel, opened March 2010 and since then have proudly hosted many beautiful Ceremonies. The Canterbury Village Wedding Chapel has seating for over 250 people and a private Bridal Suite. With breath taking photo opportunities, ceremony site and 3 receptions rooms, let us take care of all your wedding needs.

Situated on seven acres of woods and gardens in Oakland County, Michigan, our 1853 registered historic wedding chapel (and meeting house), is the oldest church building in Farmington Michigan, and offers an intimate and peaceful setting for your most important life events. Surrounded by woods and gardens, our building sits in a pastoral setting that is conveniently close to urban amenities. With seating for up to 200 guests, our charming, New England-style meeting house provides a warm space for your most special day. Our gathering hall has space for smaller wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal or baby showers, with seating up to 74 people.

Concourse Hall offers a spacious 3575 square foot floor suitable for dancing and receptions. The maple floor with sprung construction and finish is ideal for dancing. The warming kitchen is perfect for catered meals and the high ceilings and numerous windows create a light and airy venue for any event.
