Located in the Michigan City's Uptown Arts District surrounded by history sits this 150+ year old church. It was fully renovated in 2020 while keeping the charm of old architecture. We offer an experience that merges the past and the present through modern comfort and historical luxury. All eyes will be focused on you as you enter our beautiful ballroom. As you begin your magical journey down our center aisle, you will meet the love of your life, where the two of you will vow your love to one another. Exiting the ballroom as a newly married couple, you’ll begin your new life in celebration with your guests during cocktail hour in our lounge & historic courtyard. Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.
