My name is Marrell Battle and I hail from Colorado My background is in radio/'television and I'm a Viet Nam service veteran with a passion for music. My musical career began in my fathers church choir which led to a singing career with several bands from the 70's era. During the last 35 years I've been an on air personality throughout the Caribbean and in the U.S. My musical taste is very eclectic with musical knowledge that extends from the 40's to today. My greatest joy comes from having a satisfied client and knowing that I gave the client and they're guests A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.

I tell peoples stories with emotion and creativity on one of the most important days of their lives, and I love it. It's as simple as that. There isn't a single wedding that I photograph where I didn't get the “feels” throughout the day. It’s usually the parent dances that get me choked up, or the little moments before the wedding that very few see. To be able to experience so many unbelievable moments and tell your story through my photography makes every second worth it. I’ve learned that to be happy in life one of the first steps is to do what you love. Being able to share something I love with other people makes it even better.

I have been in the entertainment business for almost 20 years. I have always had a passion for music, and chose DJ’ing as a career because I get to share in the joy and fun of countless people! I have had the honor of receiving several awards recognizing my talents and contributions to local music. In 2015, I was named “Best DJ” in the Pittsburgh Underground Music Awards, and in 2017 and 2019, I earned the first place title of “Best DJ” from the Pittsburgh City Paper competition.

Why do I photograph weddings? I was told there was cake. Just playin’.. I do this because there is nothing more fulfilling than making an impact on a couple's lives; telling the story of their wedding and delivering it to them with my imagery. Being able to provide you with a story for you to look back 10 years from now and relive those moments as they happened is one of the biggest honors I can have. I achieve my storytelling by building a relationship with my couples and take note of what they value most. When I build that relationship, it lets our guards down which results in stunning and real moments that I capture for you.
